The goal is create a place for all to connect, with no barriers to entry.

They key features and characteristics include: (1) a venue to support innovation meetings and events in a region; (2) a flexible environment of rentable conference rooms, open collaborative areas, and restaurant and café space; (3) a unique space defined by its civic nature and public purpose to advance innovative solutions and serve as a gathering space for entrepreneurs and innovators across sectors, from government to corporate to nonprofit to educators; (4) a regional amenity that is a hub for gatherings and events that trigger creativity, motivate entrepreneurship, catalyze action, expand interdisciplinary collaboration, solve problems, and create the relationships that drive the innovation economy in a region forward.

  • District Hall Boston – Located in the rapidly growing Seaport neighborhood, District Hall Boston was the pioneer of this type of unique environment for connecting innovators. District Hall was created in partnership with the City of Boston and Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC), and is operated by Venture Café New England. In 2019, District Hall hosted over 1000 events and reached 50,000 people.  Annually, District Hall sponsors $1M space value for the local innovation community.
